Goodbye California
A nostalgic week was spent back at my childhood home in California. My mom and I spent a lot of time driving around looking for locations to take photos. In doing so we drove by many old & familiar places- Upland High, Cabrillo Elementary and my grandparent's old house in Chino that they built themselves. We stopped at just about every playground in Southern California fueling Gus's obsession with monkey bars. Almost daily we walked to Greenbelt park to play soccer or collect golf balls in the back field, all while watching airplanes come in for a landing at Cable Airport. Needless to say, it was a great trip that filled my heart with joy and will leave me satisfied for a time. Thank you to everyone who came out to be photographed. Taking pictures of people so near and dear to my heart was a treat to say the least. Even better, was the opportunity to photograph my brother and his wonderful fiancé! Adding Raul to our family is such a blessing.
Goodbye for now, California! The plan is to see you again in May.
